Andrew Collins

As someone born and raised in church, I’ve had the privilege of being deeply steeped in the Christian faith from a young age. Like all things, however, faith is meant to grow, and my spiritual journey into adulthood has been full of twists and turns across a beautiful range of spiritual traditions and perspectives.

I was delighted to stumble across Liminal Church shortly after moving to Ventura at the end of 2022 — a community that genuinely seeks to live out their tagline of “embracing mystery.” These days I value being in process, asking good questions, staying rooted in the love of God, and creating space for people to be flourishing image bearers of the Divine. I’d like to think that these things inform my approach to teaching and facilitating contemplative services here at Liminal.

Having long ago ditched the sacred-secular dichotomy, I also enjoy “Spirit-filled” living through reading poetry with friends, playing rec-league softball, surfing mellow longboard waves, riding my electric motorcycle, listening to the ocean, and having deep conversations over a blonde ale…among many other things.

Peace to you!
