Blue Christmas

Sometimes, “Merry Christmas” and “Happy New Year” don’t express the reality of life.  In fact, there are times when “merry” and “happy” seem impossible to even imagine.  We have a tradition at Liminal Church of taking time to recognize that, amidst the feasting and present unwrapping, there are those whose hearts are heavy.  Blue Christmas is a time when we can pause, and offer a safe space to process those harder things.  It is a time when we can come…

Bring some treats to share and we’ll put on some Christmas music and make the place feel more festive in time for Advent to begin.
