Hi! My name is Megan Rayburn, and I serve on the Board of Directors at Liminal. As a longtime believer in the power of belonging, I am passionate about helping create a space where everyone is welcomed, valued, and encouraged to bring their full selves through the door. What keeps me coming back to church is how it can foster connection, justice, curiosity, and hope.
When not at Liminal, you will find me either at home or at the law firm where I work as an attorney. Strangely enough, I seem to ask similar questions at both locations (usually “How are you feeling?” or “Why did you do that?” or “Let’s think this through.”). I am married to my best friend and biggest cheerleader, Brian, who has the best-looking ankles you will ever see. As a mother to young kids, sleep is my favorite pastime, but I rarely get to do it.
Liminal came into my life when I was asking deep, foundational questions about my faith. What I appreciate most about this church is its willingness to embrace paradox: holding conviction and humility, tradition and change, faith and questions, all at the same time. Curious about joining us? Come by – I’ll save you a seat.
