This year Liminal will be participating in the Community Christmas Shoppe, powered by ActionVC. Have you heard of it? ActionVC partners with local social service agencies to help provide Christmas presents for families who might not be able to afford them. Community Christmas Shoppe is set up like a holiday gift boutique where guests come to pick out toys, games, clothes, and other gifts in a fun atmosphere that includes things like childcare, photos with Santa, and entertainment, all at no cost.
Here is how we get to be a part of this! Bring new, unwrapped toys and gifts to church over the next few Sundays and place them in the collection box in the lobby. Not sure what to get? Use the handout of gift suggestions at the Connection Counter, or check out this Amazon Wishlist! You can also give a monetary donation through the giving tile on the Liminal app or by following this link. Or, perhaps you’d like to get a little more hands-on? Volunteer directly with ActionVC to work at one of the six locations in Ventura County on December 10th or 17th.
