Hi, I’m April-Lyn! I’ve been a member of Liminal Church since January 2020, and I’ve been serving on the teaching team since early 2023.
Before I moved to Ventura County in 2015 to work in ministry, I lived for over 30 years in Maine and Massachusetts. Moving to Southern California as a small-town New Englander was quite a culture shock! But I’m regularly in awe of how God has used my new home to transform me spiritually. Even sitting in LA traffic can be an unexpected blessing (though sometimes I need to remind myself of that). When I’m not serving at Liminal, I like to knit, play tabletop games, collect fountain pens, visit Disneyland, and dabble in whatever new hobby has sparked my interest.
It is a joy and a privilege to teach in this vibrant, diverse, inclusive, and welcoming community and to wrestle with faith alongside all of you. I look forward to continuing to serve however God leads.
