Discover Liminal
If you’re new or new-ish to our community, we’d like to invite you to an event to learn more about who Liminal is. We’ll share some of Liminal’s story, go over our Mission, Vision, and Values, introduce various members of our Leadership Team, and be available for questions. And if you’re open to sharing, we’d love to hear some of your stories as well! This will occur on Sunday, January 22, after the morning’s service (around 11:30 am). You can join…

This year Liminal will be participating in the Community Christmas Shoppe, powered by ActionVC. Have you heard of it? ActionVC partners with local social service agencies to help provide Christmas presents for families who might not be able to afford them. Community Christmas Shoppe is set up like a holiday gift boutique where guests come to pick out toys, games, clothes, and other gifts in a fun atmosphere that includes things like childcare, photos with Santa, and entertainment, all at…
Blue Christmas
Sometimes, “Merry Christmas” and “Happy New Year” don’t express the reality of life. In fact, there are times when “merry” and “happy” seem impossible to even imagine. We have a tradition at Liminal Church of taking time to recognize that, amidst the feasting and present unwrapping, there are those whose hearts are heavy. Blue Christmas is a time when we can pause, and offer a safe space to process those harder things. It is a time when we can come…
Christmas Decorating Party
We’re going to have a casual night of Christmas decorating here at the church on Friday, November 26th at 7:30 pm. We’ve downsized our Christmas decor since our move so it won’t take too long. Bring some treats to share and we’ll put on some Christmas music and make the place feel more festive in time for Advent to begin.

Summer Camp
It’s finally happening! The Blend will be heading back out to summer camp this year! Summer camp is a time when the youth and leaders gather in a magical land with no cell service or wifi to be in creation, be with each other, be with the Divine, and embrace a time of growth and new experiences together. Oh, and there’s lots of silly games, good food, and fun outings along the way! It’s one of our favorite things we…

Enneagram 101
The Enneagram is a powerful tool for personal and collective transformation. Stemming from the Greek words ennea (nine) and grammos (a written symbol), the nine-pointed Enneagram symbol represents nine distinct strategies for relating to the self, others, and the world. Each Enneagram type has a different pattern of thinking, feeling, and acting that arises from a deeper inner motivation or worldview. Learning about these patterns fosters greater understanding through a universal language that transcends gender, religion, nationality, and culture. While…
Easter Sunrise Service
Bring your family and friends, blankets and lawn chairs to Harbor Cove Beach @ Ventura Harbor, on Easter Sunday (April 17th) at 6:00am for our Sunrise Service. This was a much beloved annual tradition in our community until 2020, and we’re so excited to finally be able to get back to the water together this year. In 2019, dolphins were spotted swimming in the water behind Bob Harper as he shared his Easter message — perhaps they will join us…
