Good Friday
Today is Good Friday – the day we remember the crucifixion of Jesus. This is a heavy reality of Jesus’s story. We invite you all to listen to this poem by Vinita Hampton Wright entitled “Good Friday”, presented by Amanda Flores. Sit with these words, meditate on them and on what happened to Jesus on this day.
Maundy Thursday
On the night before his crucifixion Jesus gathered his disciples together. He needed to help them understand what was about to happen. He gave them a mandate: a command and a commission. This same mandate applies to His followers today. Before we enter the somber reflection called forth by Good Friday take some time to meditate on that mandate and evaluate your response to it.

Garden Reflections The week before Jesus died, he went with his disciples into the Garden of Gethsemane to pray. This was a time like no other, when we are allowed to glimpse a side of Jesus not previously shown: in the Garden, Jesus had questions for God.
